we have said to you before, about contacting Tinnitus UK (used to be the British tinnitus association) with your various questions. Have you contacted them?
You will not, I think, find any doctor prescribing you paracetamol for anything. You can buy paracetamol for less than £1 for eight tablets. It is for pain relief and will do nothing for tinnitus or anxiety.
If you want to apply for some kind of benefit, and cannot do the research yourself, then there are probably local charities who can help you. I cannot suggest who you might contact as these are often local to your area.
t is possible with extreme disabling T - to be on benefits if u are unable to work - you would need a report from GP or ENT and then an assessment with the government dept for disability benefits-
ask Citizens advice bureau , like Rabbits said / also ask yr GP or ENT consultant
I'm sorry to hear about your symptoms. I have been suffering for over 3 years with tinnitus and headaches. 2 MRI scans have shown nothing significant. I have been prescribed Amitriptaline but it doesn't make much difference. Paracetamol is probably your best option. With regards to benefits I went through the whole laborious process and got declined at the end.
You have lots of questions and I don't really have any answers. I've been to Consultant level for ENT & Neurology, followed all advice and my symptoms continued to deteriorated. I'm at a point where I've accepted all those horrible symptoms but refuse to let them stop me living. Very hard but possible. Go to your GP and get him/her to refer you to ENT is my best advice but don't get your hopes up too much.
