hi,

My partner has been diagnosed with Vestibular migraines and tinnitus, since he saw the TNT clinician last wk (NhS) the test he did have made the symptoms worst, we don’t have much hope for a NHS Solution or help (have been told 2 year waiting list for NHS) has anyone been to the Tinnitus clinic on Harley street?

Any recommendations for further medical support would be highly appreciated. Many thanks I’m advance

Hi Nathalie_007 I went for an initial consult just over a year ago. It wasn't for me. That's not to say it won't be for your partner . You can check out up to date TC reviews on Trust Pilot. Bear in mind that there's no cure for tinnitus and more often than not people habituate on their own. If you would like a second opinion you could try an accredited private hospital like Spire or Nuffield. All the best .

thank you, yes I’m sceptical about most things on Harley street and reviews are not overly convincing. It more about trying to find my partner some treatment rather than a 2nd opinion but some reassurance than it can work before what seems to be over £2k spent in some instances.

The problem is it’s not easy to treat tinnitus. What helps one person may not help another . I don’t think anyone can honestly put hand on heart and say this will work for you. I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful.

Tell your partner to give it a few weeks. If he had to do vestibular exercises they can really upset Tinnitus,But it usually settles down & sometimes it is a bit better. As others have said…private treatment can be a bottomless pit with very few benefits. But there would be no harm having an appointment to see an ENT Consultant privately just to put your partner’s mind at rest. You could speak to the consultant’s secretary to discuss costs…because there would probably be tests to pay for & it does add up.Keep seeing the NHS  doctors, I honestly think  they are as up to date as anybody.

Hello! I had very loud T for years, with extremely crazy spikes! I began to search frantically on the web because science does not give me any answer.

If you TRY ALL of this, I'm sure in two or three month you’ll be much better!!

1.- Mother tincture of Passinflower plant at night, but you don,t have to take medicine for sleep!

2.- Magnesium L-Threonate (only this Magnesium works well with T.) in the morning and five hours before sleep.

3.- GABA with Gingko Biloba before breakfast and two green tea Matcha per day but not after 5 pm.

4.- Control your blood pressure and detects if you snore or have cervical problems.

Keep in touch and best wishes!!
