climate and tinnitus struggling

Good afternoon beautiful people.

I' m suffering from tinnitus since 5 years. I have noticed that my tinnitus gets worse with the addition of dizziness with the heat and humidity, is there any evidence you know about it?

I live in Italy in Milan and here the humidity in summer reaches 90%.

Also I would like to ask if you know of associations like the British Tinnitus Association in Italy, that would be great, the centers I've visited so far seem to be treating this issue only with earphones but not with listening and assistance techniques.

Thanks in advance, I always follow your posts

Good evening Laura ,I do hope that you get the replies on here that your looking for . I do agree with you that the heat and humidity seem to cause me stress and therefore seems to make tinnitus worse. If you live in Italy it will be really hot over there in August , here in the U.K. as your probably aware we too have been very very warm . Thankyou for your nice post .

Hi Laura1325 Lovely post! Perhaps you could join the BTA . I think it's possible from overseas . I hope you feel better as the weather cools down.

I find that rainy days my T is a lot worst. The crickets in my head get really active if a storm is coming. I don"t know if there is a BTA equivalent in Italy, but you can join the BTA from anywhere in the world. Most of their work is online. I wish you good luck.
