Hi, first time posting, although I used the stop smoking forum 5 years ago which was so helpful for me.
I’ve had tinnitus for years, it’s definitely getting louder, I’ve also been diagnosed with neuralgia I’ve had bad headaches down the right side of my face for a few years, and these are getting worse too!
Does anyone else suffer with the two?
Do the two things (Tinnitus & neuralgia) sometimes go together? Or am I just unlucky? 😵💫

Hi Hev123 I have loud tinnitus too....its such a nuisance....I don't have neuralgia or headaches with mine although I have had bouts of vertigo. I think tinnitus can be combined with various other problems from the posts I see on here everyone is different....I'm sorry you are suffering with this combination it must be awful for you. Can your GP offer any painkillers for it....my sister suffers with migraines and she gets something from her GP to help her....I'm just relieved I don't get migraines as she has said all she can do is lie down with blackout blinds drawn until it goes away....which sometimes is 2-3 days....I hope you don't suffer that badly it must be horrid if you do....sorry I'm not much help with your problem take care....
Thank you for your reply Beagleears (love your name!) I’m very thankful that I don’t get migraines, my neuralgia flares up everyday but I can deal with it with pain killers.
I’ve had an mri scan and there is nothing untoward inside my head - thank goodness.
I just hate taking painkillers everyday but I can’t cope without them, it hurts so much. it’s so sad 😞
Anyway, I will get back onto my doctor and see what he suggests.
