The very quick answer to your question is "YES" .More broadly, you might want to start by asking your pharmacist to suggest a pill to take. If I'm right, and your dizzy spells are caused by something like labyrinthitis or benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (look these up on the NHS website) then there's a pill to help and you get them straight from the pharmacy. If it doesn't help, then maybe doctor's advice is indicated.

There are also exercises to train your brain to believe what your eyes are telling it and not your ears. Go to the website of Brain & Spine Foundation and search for vestibular rehabilitation exercises - just do the ones where you move your eyes or your head, and not the more complex ones. The NHS also proposes other exercises which may work well for you.

If you can’t get to see your GP…..Try self referral to an NHS physio who specialises in benign vestibular disturbance …..they can often give you some exercises to help with balance & dizziness.

Hello, So I had dizzy spells on and off when my T first appeared in 2020, I would describe it as minimal though and definitely only when doing things, never just randomly. A year later I no longer get them at all and my T has also diminished greatly. I had pulsatile tinnitus though. There is hope it can go away or at least diminish. I am pretty sure the Lipo Flavinoid I have been taking definitely has helped my T.

Hi my dizzy spells only started about Xmas time although I have had T for about 4 years. It has been a wee bit of a worry for me but they are not as frequent now which is a good thing I hope I will find out if there is anything I can take to help the dizzys thanks for the help and reassurance I am not the only one with dizzy spells

Pulsatile Tinnitus? If the pulsations are in synch with your pulse/heart rate then that would be the diagnosis. May I suggest an internationally-focused group devoted to just this condition . Whooshers.Com
