Done with my ENT

I am schedule to visit with a Chiroprachter next week. I have read some articles suggesting upper cervical manipulation in the C1-C5 area of the spine ineffective in the treatment of Meneire's Disease. I am not a doctor, and I am NOT suggesting anyone consult with a Chiroprachter...I had surgery in 1993 in the form of a partial lamenectomy in the C5 area of my spine, after a poor choice to dive into a shallow river a few years easier cause a spine compression. I will keep people posted on the outcome of this event. What the heck! It can't hurt..(well actually it might a little).

Hi, I too would like to hear the outcome of the visit to the chiro. I have had both tinnitus and pulsatile tinnitus in my left ear for several ears, the tinnitus changes in volume when I move my neck around, I can also get my neck in a position where the pulsatile tinnitus completely disappears. I've seen 3 ENT'S without any real success. I have had scans etc. I cant help but think that something is being "pinched" in my neck area?

Hi, I am currently having treatment with a chiropractor for my neck which has caused me dizziness for years, he first did a scan of my back and I was shocked by how bad it was, so after some adjustments ( not at all painful! ) about 90% better, now he is concentrating on my neck C2, C3 area, it’s getting there and I am hardly dizzy at all now and headaches have eased off, I asked if it would improve my tinnitus but he couldn’t guarantee it. I have been to so many ENT appointments and seen endless neurologists but this is the only place I have been where I have seen results, it is expensive but totally worth it, I am in the UK where I am finding the only place to go for help is private and I understand not every one can afford that.

I wish you well and good luck with your Chiropractor.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Yes spendy for chiropractic care. Ironic how quick a provider will prescribe opiates for symptoms but for some reason does not take the time to research solutions to a problem. The American Healthcare system facilitates this behavior because it is a for profit system. Lovely!

I am suffering with dizziness, tinnitus and nausea daily and have issues with my neck - slight impingement (cervical stenosis) at C5, C6 - I’m looking for an excellent chiropractor in London. Please can you share details if you know one. Many thanks

I am in Ipswich, Suffolk, sorry I don’t know of any in London, it’s a shame because I know Amit would be able to help you, I go to the Ipswich Spine Clinic and the fees are not too bad, £49 first consultation and £38 for each treatment, the customers reviews say it all, he is amazing but that’s not helping you, Good luck in finding one.
