Living with Tinnitus and Hyperacusis by David Bagueley, Don McFerran and Laurence McKenna.

Very informative and reassuring. Helped me a lot.

Hi Lynne. This is a great book. Incredibly reassuring. Like someone giving you a hug & telling you it's all going to be OK. When I started reading it I was at a low ebb but by the time I finished I felt a lot better.

Lynne , I tried to get hold of this book but apparently they are awaiting a new version in to print. I have the other book Rosie mentioned by Julian Cowan Hill, that’s good too.

Hi Penny. You could try Abe books. A second hand online bookshop. I think they might have several copies.

I'm ok thanks Penny. Slowly getting used to T and reclaiming my life. How are you? Hope the poodles are behaving themselves. My lovely dog makes me smile every day.

Yes I agree , my dogs keep me going. Took them down to the seafront then continued through the Polegrove rec ground. It helps me to go outside . Does your T make you more tired sometimes. If this happens I lay my head down for half an hour which helps the tiredness but can make the T a bit worse . I think it’s got something to do with the head being put in a different position. Seem ok at night in bed. So much to explore with this T to see if anything improves it. Anyway as you say getting used to it , we have little choice so may as well get used to it 😂 Dogs need us so much . I’m happy with them. 🐩 🐩

Take care of yourselves xxx

I agree with Lynn, Living with Tinnitus and Hyperacusis by David Bagueley, Don McFerran and Laurence McKenna is probably the best all round book I have read. I see Rabbit says they are waiting on a new edition but I have seen it on ebay, amazon and adebooks.
