Hello Berkeley. If you have dizziness I’d get it checked out by your GP. In the meantime (if you have to wait for an appointment) ask your pharmacist for recommendations as to what to take. Seasickness pills, Stemetil, something similar. Make sure you are well hydrated (water, preferably).I wonder why you think the dizziness is related to the T?
The Brain and Spine Foundation website has exercises to help with dizziness.
Hi. Thanks again. I have read somewhere that labyrinthitis and tinnitus are interconnected. Is that incorrect?
Hi Berkeley,I don't know of any over the counter products to can help with dizziness, but I do have this problem. At the moment I am having a spike with T and the dizziness is constant, but I also have anxiety problems. I have had an MRI scan and seen an Audiologist, nothing untoward was found. I wear white noise generators that help at times. The tinnitus/dizziness is a lot worse when the anxiety is at a high level. I agree with Happyrosie about getting this checked out with your GP.
Good luck
I have had tinnitus for five years never made me dizzy then I got vertigo that cleared up in three months or so go see your GP I did
Ent suggested inner ear issues for mine following noise exposure. Mine kicks in when horizontal - ended up on low dose mirtazipine to help with sleep - that made more difference than exercises provided by audiology. So would suggest consulting your Gp.
