By "frequency", Halen", do you mean as in radio frequency? Or how often per month or per hour? We all experience T in different ways. But I'm not sure I understand your question.

There are several resources on the web that will give you an approximate frequency.

daverussell, you’ve often commented on this site - very helpfully I might add - but I don’t understand the reference to frequency: where would I find it if I looked? I mean, what website?

I didn't particularly recommend one as everyone's tinnitus is different and it might be worth trying different ones. E.g. search "tinnitus frequency matching".

A caveat though is that listening to them may cause a spike.

Thanks, I’d heard about all this but didn’t understand the term. I’m so lucky that I haven’t - as yet - felt the need for any intervention even though the T sometimes seems to drown out conversations at home.

I have read that sometimes audiologists will feed different pitches of sounds until you tell them it is the same as your tinnitus.

They can then tell you the frequency
