Teeth and tinnitus

Hello, I have had ear pain (right ear), headaches around that ear and tinnitus for the past two years and still don't know what is causing it. The docs don't seem interested after doing an MRI and saying I don't have a tumour. I don't have a wax problem either. My ear feels inflamed inside and hurts when I open my jaw wide. I have an impacted wisdom tooth and have recently discovered a diseased tooth (recently filled but still causing probs) on the right side also. I think the cavity has been there for ages as it was hidden and the impacted tooth for at least 10 years. Has anyone found a correlation between teeth and ears problems? Does anyone of this ring a bell for you? I am a bit desperate tbh. Thanks in advance!

There is a clear correlation between teeth/jaw problems and tinnitus.

You should talk to your GP again make sure there is no infection as you say it feels inflamed.Try and see a good Orthodontist.

Hello auntbessy. I’ve not myself had this problem but a friend of mine did. His issue turned out to be a tooth problem but also his jaw had got out of alignment. He was prescribed exercises for the jaw, and had his teeth dealt with.
