I got tinnitus years ago whilst working in a noisy textile environment. It went away for years but came back last year. I had also become a later life university teacher and when it came back, I was retired, but I started to research tinnitus and learn what the world experts think work and what has little value. After 12 months of trying this better management - it has now gone - as long as I stick to my management system. My experience led me to want to reach out and help others in my situation so I learnt how to write Xcode for iPhone and iPad Apps and have finally managed to produce an App which is a self help medical tinnitus better management system full of information about free resources and activities. It has now been approved by Apple and was released in the App Store yesterday. It is called ' My Practical Tinnitus'. It's free and there are no ads or in app purchases and I have no beneficial interest in any of the content ideas. The app includes links to the main research articles and clinical guidelines. Best Regards. Dr. Robert Redfern.
