Hi, well I live about 1000km away from you in France, but my home town is Chorley and as soon as flights start again I will be coming back to give hypnotherapy a go, as I really think it may help me with my T. I just found that there is a Hypnotherapy Association based in Chorley so I will be getting recommendations from them. You may not be someone who believes in this sort of thing, but it's not too expensive and so worth a try. If not a cure it may help you to habituate. The beginning is hard for everyone ( I struggled big time) but don't read the hopeless stuff on tinternet! Lots of people get better or habituate completely which is the same. Watch Julian Cowan- Hill vids. You will find a way through this. Remember, loads of people in worse situations. I like to remember that I can always put headphones on and listen to some nice music and escape from my problem if I want too, not everyone can do this. Be positive and Bon Chance!

Hi DJ - sorry to read that you're having difficulties with tinnitus after some months of living with the condition. It can be tough for most people at the outset of experiencing tinnitus, and more so now that we're all having to stay home for a while. We are in the process of setting up online support groups, so that may be a route which is available to you if you want to speak to people who can empathize with the struggles that you're having.

There's also the helpline if you want to speak to somebody about your concerns.

Take care.
