T when you feel down
hey, that wont be a sprint, you'll be there for the duration, dont wory about tomorrow, she'll understand. you can be strong...
Stress and upset will make your T worse, but try not to be too hard on yourself. Be there as much as you can for the family and take it one day at a time.
I wouldn't let anyone downplay your suffering in contrast to your sister either. She's 'lucky' in a way that there is something that can be done for her condition.
I'm sure your sister will understand. I've been through breast cancer treatment and everything went well. Still got one more op, but treatment nowadays has become very good. Don't worry, she'll be OK.
Hello joeb17.
I can't reallt really add more ti above other than being kind to yourself. Give yourself some slack. You should not underestimate your own burden.
I remember the story told by the soldier who served in Afghanistan. he lost his legs on a land mine. He said that the biggest battle afterwards was the T.
Your sister will know that you care and are doing what you can.
Regards
Ade
I’m not surprised you are feeling so upset. It is very upsetting for your family. There’s nothing wrong with you and your mum having a good cry today then when your sister has had her operation and is on the mend you’ll be able to support each other and your sister. Sending ((((big hugs)))) and good wishes your way.
