Hi I have had pulsatile tinnitus for over 4 years, have had lots of tests but nothing showing. It is my blood I can hear and when I lay down that compressed whatever is wrong and when I stand a seems to be compressed which affects the back of my tongue and roof of my mouth only. The pulsing noise vibrates around my head. Has anyone tried ginkgo biloba with any success as thinking of giving this a go? Thanks

All i would say is. Consult with you're Doctor first if you have blood pressure problems and are taking medication for it.
I tried GB for 6mths or so, but it did nothing for me unfortunately.
Like a pulse that vibrates.i get that when I get real stressed .
Yes it’s one of my arteries I think, it vibrates and disturbs the nerve that affects a small patch of the roof of my mouth or a patch on the left back of my tongue. This can be painful for hours and hours. Mine isn’t affected by noise or stress. I think it’s a mechanical issue. Is there anything that helps you?

Hi, I have been trying Ginko for three months on the recommendation of my Physio as she said it can work for some.
Hasn't made any difference at all to me Will finish the packet and maybe try something else..
It didn‘t help me at all. Tried it for a few months.
Hi Bridgettt. Just popping in to point out this treatment advisory on the BTA's website, which you might find helpful - tinnitus.org.uk/tinnitus-an...
The main concerns about this medication appear to be the potential for allergic reactions, which you might want to look into before taking this particular supplement.
