Hi, did you get tinnitus straight after getting the ear wax out?

Hi I had a blocked ear for 11 days so was putting olive oil in to loosen the wax then had it micro suctioned then the tinnitus came on about an hour later in one ear and then I could sense it in the other the next day

Hi, I think I got mine from ear wax, I had a light buzz in the ear a week or so before I got ear wax removed, doctor said I had alot of impacted wax and it should settle once wax is removed, a year and a half down the line and it's gotten worse.its really hard to tell if them wax has caused it or not.hopefully yours will settle.

Hi ,, I had the same thing done three years ago, didn’t work ,,,I then had a grommet put in my ear ... I woke up with tinnitus. Try to keep as calm as possible which does help. Unfortunately my tinnitus didn’t go, I now wear a cochlear implant. All the best ! It may disappear .
