Short but very amusing conversation

So it’s pretty short but it made me laugh. I was at the park yesterday with some family and while carrying my nephew we shared this conversation:

Nephew: “Mum said you have a ring in your ear. Is that true?”

Me: “Yeah. It’s a bloody pain but it’s okay”

Nephew: “Why did you put it in your ear?”

Me: “Huh?”

Nephew: “The ring. Why did you put it in your ear and not on your finger like Mums wedding ring”

I burst out laughing and explained it’s not that sort of ring just a noise and got the always classic “Ooooooh”. It was pretty funny lol.
