Hi someone posted asking if dogs barking made their T worse I replied and said it makes mine worse so I was wondering if sufferers would reply to this post and say what sounds make their T levels go up I put ear plugs in when I wash up as the sound of crockery banging together makes my T worse .when I have read the reply’s I will make a list to find the sound that effects most T sufferers then post the results

The sound of a vacuum cleaner makes mine much worse and if I forget to put on my ear defenders, an electric drill and circular saw have the same effect on it.
The dog barking.
Pots and dishes clattering.
Hand dryers in public loos.
Children’s shrill voices.
Babies crying loudly.
All of the above make me flinch, it seems to be pitch rather than volume.
Motorway driving doesn’t seem to help.
It’s a completely torturous condition and I do wish they would find some means of relief!
