Hi Sweeper, having just read your post I felt I had to reply right away with a sound affirmation that pottering about in the garden, in the warm sunshine, is most definitely a major weapon with which to brow beat the tinnitus into quiet submission. Some 2 summers ago now, I too started to venture out into the world of green leaves and colourful flowers. Of digging and and hoeing and the surprisingly calming a tivity of weeding! Mowing the lawn and watering everything. Watching things emerge from the soil after you have sown seeds and bulbs.....it was massive and most welcome medicine for me and the horrendous stress which the t hadbeen putting me through. No...which I had ALLOWED the t to put me through. Big difference. I cannot pin point a day or date when I suddenly knew that the t just didnt matter anymore, but it was a joyful, uplifting experience from which I have never looked back. The t is still there, but it is nothing but a much quieter little oik, so easily ignored. So you keep on digging for victory, sowing the seeds of success and all other cheesy platitudes you can think of when out in the garden e enjoying yourself and discovering that the t really REALLY doesn't matter, because you are doing stuff you want to be doing, not hiding in a desperate place trying to cope. Hurrah for gardening!!! Xx

What anit depresents were you put on ?

What did your Dr give you ? I take

Xanax .05 Mgs twice a day and it really helps the Tinnitus when it’s loud and also my anxiety I get from it too. I usually take it in the early morning then before bed

Cause honestly without it there is no way

I will get the sleep I need .

Happy to hear that there working 😊

Only been on the fluxotine for a couple of days but I have noticed a bit of a difference in my tinitus it's not as loud as it was which is a good thing because it appeared to be feeding off my depression which I suffer from and the two combined. Is not a good thing for me am definitely feeling a bit better now I have found a way to control both am even sleeping a bit better

I’m happy you are finding comfort

Sad we can’t cure it we can only try and

Silence it . I too suffer from anxiety and the T feeds off of it. So the anxiety medicine does help.

Happy Silence !
