I been too 2 Pych,s and they seem to know nothing about T this is so disturbing that I have something and nobody seems to know how to treat it. I get maybe 3 hours of sleep a night my anxiety is so high all I do is panic that no body cares and it just drives me crazy

Always angry and depressed!!! Does anyone feel like this or exp the same thing when seeking help ?

Thank you

Whenever I mention tinnitus to any medical professional all I get is sympathy and sorry to hear you’ve got that problem. Apart from being given hearing aids with masking sounds fitted and advice on what to do to distract myself I get nowt else from them. When I ask about medication all I’ve been told is there one on trial or under research but nothing available on prescription. I’m awake several times through each night and I’m always wide awake before my alarm goes off. So you’re definitely not alone dsh2358. There are many more like you and me!

I was on low dosages of Aprazolam and it helped so much but my dr moved and since I have found no Dr willing to prescribe me this we are as they call a opioid crisis here and aprazolam trickled down to that also it’s frustraitimg that the people who need these medications suffer because of the actions of people who abuse them

Thank you fro replying

I feel you frustration. I see a therapist and a psychiatrist but they can help with the tinnitus. They are therapist who can help you with tinnitus if you find the right one. You should try hearing aids with masking they helped me a little bit.
