New Improved Laser : I just curious if anyone... - Tinnitus UK
New Improved Laser

There are plenty of links to scientific studies on their website, most of which claim some success, albeit quite limited, with this device. I don't think I'd fancy splurging 500 sheets on it tho'.
Hi .... I enquired about the laser therapy treatment, one of the top leading ENTs in the state where I live said do not touch it. I have a Cochlear implant and have had a lot of operations on my ear, so maybe this is why? But I’ve been told not to go near it. Good luck though 😊
Are you based in the US? Did your ENT guy give any explanation as to why you shouldn't touch it?
Got to admit, this has got me intrigued - the UK website for this device is trumpeting a 90day money back guarantee. Who fancies trying it out and telling everyone how you get on?
Possibly because she had so many surgeries ?

Hi .. I’m based in Australia and no the surgeon did not give any explanation. I did not get this opinion from my own surgeon, he knew nothing about it, but wasn’t very interested. I guess if I hadn’t have so much intervention. ( I’ve had 9 operations and I’m being treated for pain as well) I would give it a try . There is a place in south Australia that is meant to be good. If I just had Tinnitus I would probably try but the BTA do not encourage it! Good luck... we will all get there in the end
I’m Totally Deaf I had Cochlear Implants both ears that is, and all went wrong, I lost ALL my Hearing as I had complete Obliterations, I have nothing at all but skin graft in both ears now.
And I’m desperate now for something to help Rid this fook’n nightmare 24/7 Tinnitus.
New lasers, same old ... well, I could say a rude word here, and then go on about companies preying on the desperate, but I won't. I'll restrain myself and say that there's no evidence that any laser works for tinnitus, and that the proposed mechanism of operation that the manufacturers claim is wishful thinking.
Avoid.
Warmest wishes

Thank you ! Well..Would be nice to hear actual user of this product .Some Company's offer money back ..that link i sent to company from Sweatband { will let you to rent it } .. Switzerland country known for quality ..has all save certificates..
There's been a further update to the website for the UK supplier and they're now offering this device on a 10wk trial basis. Still charging £75 for that trial, but it's becoming more tempting, regardless of how 'magic beans' it seems.
EDIT - I take it back. I've just read the reviews page on Amazon, with absolutely every response either saying it simply doesn't work or debunking the 'science' behind it. I also Googled 'Dr Gerhard Gunther', their apparent medical expert, and the only links that brought up were to the page selling this device. Aaand, I sent an e-mail via the 'contact us' button and it bounced back as undeliverable. Scam central.
Bring on the MuteButton!!
