MRI pain and tinnitis

My husband has had tinnitus for several years. He’s 60 years old and in good health overall. But, he has had severe pain and noise in his right ear for the past couple of months. It wakes him up from a dead sleep, it makes him dizzy and it causes blurred vision in his right eye. Today during the MRI, the tinnitis pain was almost unbearable. He almost had to tell them to stop. His hands were shaky and his blood pressure was high for several minutes after it was over. Now, on to the CT scan.

If he has had tinnitus for several years I doubt this is the cause. See the medical profession. They have the qualifications to diagnose.

All I’d say is that tinnitus can be a warning signal. My ex wife and I are much happier since we acted on it. :-/
