Folks, I am not sure if I believe this. Over a year into my T and H journey and I certainly do not feel a lot stronger. In facts, before all this started I felt that I could conquer the world.
Do you agree with this well known and used quote? Are you a lot stronger because of your battles?
Thoughts please.

No Ade, I do not feel stronger. Tinnitus takes much of my energy ~ thinking about it, distracting from it with activity (just at the right level to not aggravate it), the lack of complete silence etc etc.
I do have days when it is quiet- bliss - but I always know it will reappear. i don't see how any chronic medical problem can make you stronger.
We have to aim onwards and upwards and hope for better times. With the amazing advances in medical science, maybe quiet times will soon come. Angela xx
I agree with you. It effects me every day and it drains me. I truly think that Nietzsche got it wrong. "Water grinds away stone" is a bit negative but more apt
hi angela, I totally agree with you about the energy and it dragging you down but sadly T has been around for over 3 thousand years since the Babylonians and no one is still any the wiser so I wouldn't he holding ,my breath for a cure anytime soon!!!!! drumcraw,
I agree Ade, I fail to see how T and H can make you stronger. That quote and DH Lawrence's quote “What the eye doesn't see and the mind doesn't know, doesn't exist.” should both be put in room 101.
