I have a wonderful rather strange friend called George who is on some kind of spiritual and practical mission to restore justice and expose abuses of power especially within the medical profession but all public bodies. The stuff he could tell you is enough to make the sanest, calmest person run for cover.
Some very dear freinds of his swears that by praying for him, about his mission and even one lady prays to him, their health is restored. One of these ladies died a few years ago well past 100 and the other is fit as a fiddle into her late 80's and both of them relied almost exclusively on praying for this chap. My own health has also improved dramatically as a result of getting to know this person better and sending the odd one upwards for him.
Sound crazy I know but I have learn't not to disregard what I haven't thoroughly investigated. It woud'nt hurt if some of you gave it a go and it would be interesting to see if there were any positive results. In your own words and methods of course.

I too agree that we shouldn't dismiss something just because there is no logical answer. I send out healing thoughts to the universe, some may think I am barmy but it can't do any harm. There are many mysteries in this life, some we will never quite know the answers to.
Ok. That's really interesting. I would do anything to get better ! if I pray, how shall I address him? Shall I pray for 'George' ? Has he got any website ?
How can we find out more about George? I like the sound of him! I've always seen myself as an Atheist but have come to question this in recent months, I can't really get in with the Catholic church as I am appalled by a lot of their doings (covering up child abuse etc.) Plus there are no cases that come to mind of a bad person named George! It's a nice person's name.
I'm very open minded and am willing to explore my spiritual side. And you never know, it could work!...or we'll end up on a ranch in Waco.
George has a faith in God but it isn't just the Catholic Church its all of them. I doubt there is a Church in Britain that isn't or hasn't been covering up abuse of children. There is huge oppression and the word Forgiveness is used to put pressure on people to keep quiet about whats going on.God is real and just and wants people to forgive people who genuinely admit to doing wrong.People need to stop inappropriate forgiveness and get back to seeking a just God. George loves God but believes that the Church is an utter disgrace. !2 step programmes like AA are a much safer place to explore spirituality.
It is great to have a website like thyroid UK and I think self help groups like this will start to change the world as more and more injustice and bad practice is exposed.
I've spent my life with loads of Georges and hope to be a George myself one day.. Holistic, homeopathic & spiritual healing when done with intent & intellegence (as in taking all aspects of a situation in, not as in university degree rather cosmic degrees ) Really is the way forward.. We all know this & I thank you for the reminder to myself and others here. If you don't have a George then start seeking at your local crystal shop perhaps..
