Is there a way to mark a question so that it's ... - Thyroid UK
Is there a way to mark a question so that it's easy to come back and follow the thread later?
No - unfortunately. Nothing built-in.
Of course, you could copy the address (from the address bar in your browser) and store that somewhere (a simple text file, a word processor document?).
We would very much like something to help and maybe an update will provide additional facilities?

Thanks Rod, that was quick! Just wondered if there was some method I was missing. I do bookmark things, but thought I'd be more likely to remember to check back if there was something 'on-site' that I could use.
We admins are desperate for something like this too for admin purposes as well as personal! It's such a fast moving forum that it's impossible to keep track of everything
If one picks up an interesting post (I have them sent to my inbox) clicks 'read more' of the post, it brings one to the site. If one then, foolishly, logs in the interesting thing one was hoping to read more of disappears and is usually impossible to find. The gather to my inbox doesn't specify whether the post was a blog or a question. I don't stay logged in to sites; it seems a cavalier way to treat my online security. So I don't know if the site is designed to work best for people who do. Certainly the site makes logging in something of a route march compared to other sites which claim to be secure. I have tried feeding this sort of thing back but have never had a reply.
Oh yes - hadn't thought of that. Thank you.
It would also be a great timesaver if, instead of saying 'click here if you want to read more of this post' the actual post popped up in my email. I don't want or need to reply to everything. Sometimes it becomes obvious from the first line of a post that I don't need to read it all. But currently one needs to check every response if one has posted something - 'just in case'.
RSS would be brilliant!
I made the mistake of finding a reply I want to keep and then forgetting the question it was under. I know have a word document for Thyroid and copy and paste anything I want to keep for reference into that. Works a treat - as long as you remember to copy/paste it!
