I am still having trouble getting Armour on the... - Thyroid UK
I am still having trouble getting Armour on the NHS the pharmacy at the doctors surgery has said that they don't know where they can get it
Your pharmacy needs to obtain it through one of the official UK importers. All the information can be found on the Thyroid UK website here:
thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/pages/...
If you scroll down to the bottom of the page you'll find a list of importers that you can give to your pharmacy.
It is available through the pharmacy supplier IDIS. I used to get it from Tesco.

Hi
cant you get it through th PCT?
Im sure if you can prove theres a need for it, you would be eligable for a prescription so the pharmacy would be able to get it for you.
Or do you have to pay for it yourself?
Good luck
Yes at the moment I am paying for it but trying to persuade my gp to give me an nh perscription as I have been getting my private perscription from Dr Skinner who said I should be able to get it on the nhs but not having any luck with my gp.
