Hi
Could you expand a bit on this question, please.
Hi Shaws,
Sorry that was quite a short question really wasn't it! I mean sort of getting periods where you can't move, say, your hand. The movement in my hand feels really odd a lot of the time since it happened. It sort of comes with numbness and pins and needle type sensation. Just wondering if this could be a thyroid thing, as I know pins and needles and numbness can be.
Thanks xx

I can't say I have had movement problems but when hypo I often wake up in the night with one of my arms completely numb. I also get a lot of tingling when very hypo. Sorry I haven't really answered your question though xx
Hi I assume you have ruled out Carpal tunnel ( early morning a good indication) and neck problems, pressure on nerve It is possible it is low vit D or too much or too little calcium ( corrected calcium ). If it continue I would get expert medical advice. if you see an endo that would be a good starting point. You do not say if your thyroid is controlled!
i hope things improve.
