Hi Sharman

Can I suggest that you post a little bit more information about what you would like to know. Short questions like this tend to get missed or ignored.

Can you post a little about yourself and your diagnosis, treatment, test results etc.

Thanks

Louise

Hi With your brief question I will do my best! It is well known amongst thyroid sufferers that if thyroid under treated it effects sleep. I find that I sleep deeply for about 20mins or so then, I am wide awake for about 4 hours. This is not unusual. however, I have discovered never to mention it to doctors as they think you are over treated and must be hype, lack of sleep with hyper is totally different. I hope this helps.

Sleep issues could be related to adrenal issues also, so it can be helpful to test with the 24hr saliva cortisol test.
