Since starting thyroid meds my neck and shoulders are really stiff and painful in the mornings is this a common problem?

My neck and shoulders are stiff a lot too, I work at a desk all day so I just assumed this is why, so I would be interested in seeing replies to this.

I have this as well always feel unrested in the morning and achey - I take my meds in the morning - by evening if I try lift my arms I am in agony as well. .

About 4 months after beginning levo I was completely stiff and painful all over and could only shuffle around - not raise arms, etc. etc. On eventually changing to another thyroxine it disappeared but heart problems began about the 8th month. Although my heart has since been given the all clear, it was the levothyroxine which caused it.

Yes im bad first thing in the morning but i do exercise classes and thought it was that .So having a break at Christmas should have helped but im worse !Taking Omega 3 oil and vit D. Going to GP in a couple of days will talk to him .
