Blood sugar levels? Get it checked out to avoid Diabetes undiagnosed. Lack of carbs? Protein? Consider your diet too.

Hi Fion
Can you get a copy of your latest thyroid blood test results from your surgery and post again so that someone will comment. Please also put the ranges (the figures in brackets).

I would get this when out walking my dogs, it would come on suddenly and it meant I would need to stop and rest and walk very very slowly, my arms, legs and even head would feel like lead, I'd feel drunk or like I was going to pass out, shaky, hard to catch my breath, sweaty hot but like internal heat rising.
I thought it was blood sugar, so started eating every 2 hours, but also I had tests and my Iron was low (plus B12,,D3) so started taking Iron and I stopped having these episodes after about a week of the changes.
Apparently, storing glycogen in the muscles and liver becomes a problem with hypothyroidism. Eat more simple sugars (fructose in fruit) to help stimulate your energy flow and eat little and often (five or six times a day.). It sounds like you may have run out of energy after you r exercise. Try eating something before you excercise to avoid that 'dip'.
