According to a friend, I do - but this is a friend who likes telling people how ill/tired they look!

However, i've noticed it myself. Is it a hypo sort of thing?

Not sure what causes it but I certainly go very pale from time to time - a few hours rather than days. Even my gums are pale and my toe nails completely colourless. It's usually the first sign of a really bad patch of tiredness etc.

Yes I go very pale at differing times throughout the day......often I am colourless when I get up in the morning but not always. I am fairly well medicated so I am not sure if it is linked to that or the whole auto immune thing! Like Sandi it is usually an hour or so.....

Not necessarily --- have adrenals been checked? Being pale and having dark circles under the eyes are symptoms of ad'l fatigue and it does not have to be severe. Forget cortisol blood tests. The following are excellent indicators{ raglan test, eye sensitivity test, temperature chart ( variances after rising ) romberg test, all can be found on Dr Wilson's site. He has a book out and there is a questionnaire too. Well worth doing. Lastly --- private saliva test. NHS will not, however, accept it.
