Is anyone having trouble getting there medication? I can not tolerate the Teva brands at all. When i came to renew my perscription my pharmacy could only offer Teva. So i had to go to numerous pharmacies so whilst Boots initally helped with half of the pills they are now struggling to source any.
Levothyroxine 75mg: Is anyone having trouble... - Thyroid UK
Levothyroxine 75mg
Which brand do you prefer?
You can ask your GP to write your preferred brand in the first line of your levo prescription, then the pharmacy has to order that brand for you.
Vencamil is available in 75mcg dose size. The prescription for that looks different and just names the brand. Its lactose and mannitol free.
In addition to Teva, 75 microgram tablets are potentially available from Aristo (as Vencamil), Crescent and Glenmark (though there have been problems for some time with their availability).
A matter of persevering through all available pharmacies to find one who will supply something suitable. Or having your prescription changed - either to different dosages or to a specific make/product by name.
