Normally I don't see a goitre on him but I keep a close eye on both my children for symptoms... Some could argue it's obsessive. 😂
He was eating a few weeks ago and I thought his neck looked a bit funny. Assuming it's not a goitre because it's not always there but equally I don't think I've ever watched anyone eat so closely so I can't immediately dismiss it as normal!
Would be grateful for any thoughts.

His thyroid could be a little bit swollen but it's hard to tell. However, those necklace lines round his neck are somewhat suspicious, so if he were mine, I'd get the GP to give him a test, just to be sure.
I'm glad you said that; both my children have the necklace lines and I've often wondered if I'm just paranoid and I can't easily check other people's children's necks. 😂
No, that would be seen as a bit odd, going round peering at childrens necks! 🤣 No, you're not paranoid, this needs an eye kept on it at the very least.
The first photos shows a lower neck bulge to me. The 2nd doesn’t show it but the 2 lines above where thyroid would be can also be a sign of thyroid swelling.
The thyroid moves when swallowing. It’s not seen in healthy individuals but sometimes if swollen you can see the movement.
As an example, 2 doctors said my neck was “fine”. then at a 3rd appointment with nurse, I said look at my lower neck when I drink. I Inclined head up drank a gulp of water from bottle I’d brought with me. I have a healthy side & goitre (nodule) the other side so the comparison was very visible.
