Does anyone here have any experience of the Gloucester Royal Endocrinology department?

With any recommendation that you get, it is advisable to complete further research yourself before making a decision.
It is a good idea to have thyroid blood tests (TSH, FT4 and FT3) alongside key vitamins (ferritin, folate, B12 and vit D) prior to your appointment. This allows you to discuss the results with the endo at the first meeting.
I also like to write a list of on going symptoms and questions, as it’s easy to forget once you are in an appointment. I personally like to take someone with me to new appointments, for moral support!
