Liv is leaping from a plane near Nottingham on Wednesday 15th May (this week) around 1pm.
She has so far raised a whopping Β£445
Its part of Loughborough Uni Rag Week, where she is a second year engineering student.
A few weeks ago she went on a fundraising drive offering to do 5km runs for every Β£50 donated and bless her, with a TSH of 5.8 she has battled through and completed all her runs. (We are working on that TSH don't you worry!)
She has the TUK T shirt ready to go π¦
If you can spare a few quid to this wonderful charity who do so much for us, here is the link:
She is! I've just seen her Just Giving page has photos of all her runs, even the ones with ner Dad when she struggled to get going! Bless her she is a trooper. π¦
Well done! I don't function at all well with my TSH at that level. Does she experience morning ankle stiffness? I once read it's common to hypothyroidism and rheumatoid arthritis (which I don't have, thankfully).
A friend's husband found her "bucket list" and, for her 40th birthday, told her to dress up warm and drove her to Langar airfield for a tandem jump, ignoring any pleas of "I didn't really mean it!" as she was suited up and bundled onto the plane. The photos were hilarious.
Skydive postponed till next week, the skydive centre werenβt happy with conditions today. I will update when I know more. Thanks to the folks who donated sheβs absolutely thrilled with the response. π±
