We ask that all members read them and very much hope you do so. However, in time, we can forget what was there, or misremember, or whatever.

Hence, I am posting this short reminder of the guidelines in full.

And (today) of this specific item:

31. Do not post links or website addresses in the subject field of posts.

Putting a link into the subject of a post can cause problems.

For example, a link in a subject will never be converted into an active “blue” link that you can click on.

The presence of a link in the daily digest could cause issues in some email systems. And someone might inadvertently click on a link when they actually only mean to visit the post.

(The worst problems that used to occur appear to have been resolved by changes made by HealthUnlocked. Nonetheless, some issues can still occur hence this guideline remains.]
