decreased meds can not stop sweating

have looked all over the internet to try and find answers…

I have decreased thyroid meds only a total of 75mcg a week. Since I decreased I am waking up dripping with sweat & sweating much more all day

I usually have this a few nights before period but it has only been 2 weeks and 4 days since last one.

has anyone else had this problem? I wonder wether it is the body flushing out hormones

I really don't think it's the body flushing out hormones. That's not how it works. More likely the result of reducing your dose and being under-medicated. Why did yo do that?

Only made a small de crease as levels are a bit too high. So cut out 25mcg 3x a week

Well, your FT3 is just slightly over-range but nothing to worry about. Depends how you felt with those levels. If you felt well, then there was no need to reduce. So, what are you taking now?

Ranges are only a rough guide, not a rigid barrier that you mustn't cross. Some people just need their FT3 over-range to feel well. And it's all about how you feel, not numbers. :)

This is true I keep forgetting it is a guide! I always feel better when my t3 is higher side.

So currently one

1 1/4 grains of armour (split 3x a day)

75mcg of tirisont 5x days

50mcg triosint 2x days.

I never get on well reducing armour so tend to reduce t4.

Well, if I were you, I'd put the dose up again, to where it was and see if the sweating stops. :)
