Help - Endocrinologist T3/T4 combined

GP has refered me to NHS Endocrinologist, would be gratfull for any info/experiance of any in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire or surrounding please?

BEFORE consultation

Recommended to get all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

On T3 - day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day with last dose 8-12 hours before test

Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins

Thanks for your reply, had read that before but thought I needed NHS endo to (hopefully) prescribe T3/T4 combined. Really struggling more with the brain frog as well as all the other things we try to learn to live with. 😩 Currently on 125mg Levo. FT3 always reading in the 3's genetic report said I'd maybe benifit from combined therapy.
