Muscle Twitches following increased dose of Levothyroxine

Just wondering if anyone has experienced muscle twitches after a recent increase dose of Levothyroxine? In particular my pulse is faster and I can also feel a pulse like sensation in my thigh mainly after exercise but not always and slight twitches under rib cage. I have just googled it and it says this can happen if the dose is too high! My dose was recently raised from 75 mg everyday to 75/100 mg on alternate days. Even though I posted readings here and they were good I now feel this dose is too high. Got an appointment Monday to see GP but think I may have to reduce it back down to 75 mg before then as it’s worrying me. Any experience of this or advice would be gratefully received thank you.

Have you retested iron and ferritin levels since

Exactly what vitamin supplements are you taking

Muscle twitching often low magnesium levels

Are you taking any magnesium

Do you wear a fitness tracker. Helpful for recording resting heart rate

As you have Hashimoto’s are you on gluten free and/or dairy free diet

Hi thanks for your reply. I am taking Spatone had full panel blood test all ok. I take vitamin D and Magnesium this has been helping me sleep.

I’m very wary of losing a prescription in case you can never get that dose back again.

Can you play around with something like 75-75-100?

But as SlowDragon said - try magnesium

Thank you for your reply. I was thinking about this today and may try something as you suggested. It would be interesting to see if this made a difference. Especially as before the dose increase I never experienced these twitches but then again it could also be stress or hormonal related!
