I've got a repeat bloodtest booked for 8th September as i reduced my levo dose, I've also asked my dr if i can have a full iron panel done aswell as i stopped taking the ferrous fumerate and started using the Patchworks iron patches, i'll only of been on them for about 7 weeks but if they're not helping at all then i don't want to waste my time or money on them and i'll just order the Three Arrows heme iron. I don't think they're doing anything as i am even more tired than before and words are a challenge 🤦‍♀️

My question is do i still need to stop the iron patches a week before the test?

It is only supplements that contain biotin such as a B complex that need to be stopped 3-7 days before a test. Anything else you can continue with right up until the test.

So guidelines say stop iron supplements 5-7 days before test

As it’s a patch I would continue it
