Fibromyalgia is a syndrome, not a disease. Hypothyroidism is a disease. Fibromyalgia is often 'diagnosed' when the doctor fails to diagnose hypothyroidism, or under-treats it so that the patient still has hypo symptoms. They are not two separate things.

If fibromyalga is a syndrome is a syndrome and hypothyroidism is a disease then surely they are 2 seperate things I was diagnosed with the thyroid and put on 50mg of levothyroxine a couple of months ago and the fibromyalga was diagnosed on the 10/07/23 and am taking ampytripiline which has been outed to 50 mg and 25mg 3 times a day of prgabalin

No, not at all. A syndrome is a bunch of symptoms. Symptoms have to be caused by something. And that something is, more often than not, un/under-treated hypothyroidism. If you've been on 50 mcg levo for a couple of months, then you are under-medicated and it's time you had an increase in dose.

50 mcg is only a starter dose. It is supposed to be increased by 25 mcg every six weeks, after testing, until your symptoms are gone. If your doctor thinks your hypo is going to improve on just 50 mcg daily, then he knows nothing about thyroid.

It happens to many of us when we first start taking Levo - the tiredness etc. It seems our bodies struggle for a bit, then when we give it some help with Levo, it says, "OK, at last, wont even try to produce my own" and we feel worse than we did before. Then the dose goes up, body says "yehhh!" for a while, gets used to the higher dose and you start to feel rough again. So up the dose again until the body says "OK, feel good". This can take up to a year and you feel like giving up, but do struggle on, and you will feel better.

Do get your blood results, you are entitled to them, and post on here if we can help further.
