Unfortunately there are ongoing technical issues. I have several times tried to post, got a pink banner, tried again, then again. Typically, third time lucky. But not always.

If you do simply retry, your typing usually remains.

For longer posts/replies, it is always a good idea to prepare your text elsewhere - such as in a word processor. Then copy and paste when ready.

Yes the copy and paste worked in end. The pink banner says refresh page and try again, DON'T it just sent text off into the unknown.

crossing my fingers for you, my gp accepts private blood test results. Hopefully yours will too x

My GP told me if I wanted to know my T3, I would have to go private, as they could not ask the labs to do this. He is cross about this, but he hopes it would change. He know I keep pigs so I told him I would go home and train the pigs to fly in formations!

FOI sent off to find out who in this area made the decision to not test T3. Results expected by the end of the month and I will let you know.

It seems to be the labs who make that decision or it was back when I had Graves in 2012. Now I don’t think doctors bother to ask for more than TSH.

I had one practice nurse who was cross and commented about only my TSH being tested - no mention of T4 ( no mention of T3though) and said that she would speak to the doctor about it - she was a wonderful nurse who ‘retired’ shortly after that. I always wondered if the two were connected in any way.

Yes it would be good to be able to put a name/department to this idiocy
