Hello Everyone, I think I'm have a bad reaction to Levothyroxine, for years. But ot hard to get off , and I'm not 100% sure , as my head so foggy. I was in not much pain when I woke up. Can levothyroxine, give severe aching and neuropathy pain, bad heart, ear aches, foggy head . Swollen stomach , diareer, stomach severe pain. And headaches.. I told the doctors , over the years, but they don't care. I feel I'm dying . Help.

How much Levothyroxine are you taking? And do you have any recent blood test results?

Hi, I'm on 75mg. I have blood tests , about 3 times a year. But they never tell me the results , and when I ask for them before , they don't give them.

You are fully entitled to know your blood test results. Ask at reception for a printed copy, and then come back and tell us the numbers. We need to know these to be able to help with your thyroid questions. 🙂

Have you been on different brands of levo? The pills contain fillers to make the shape and stick it all together. Different brands can have different fillers and not all fillers agree with folks. For example Teva levothyroxine contains mannitol which makes some folks feel poorly

Hi do you feel exhausted most of the time too? Levothyroxine can exacerbate poor adrenal function and would give the symptoms you cite but you would also feel really wiped out too. So if it isn't the fillers causing symptoms then perhaps you need your adrenal function (cortsol levels) checked.
