advice please re appointment with endocrinologist from this helpful forum.

have had under active thyroid for nearly 70 years. Seeing an endocrinologist end of month plus also seeing someone re my back as I have been told today I have arthritis in my back. Also suffer with type 2 diabetes which is well controlled. Trying to find out if thyroid and arthritis are related. Any advice would be much appreciated so I can make sure I ask the right questions. Thanks

Do you have Osteoarthritis or Rheumatoid arthritis

Osteoarthritis is not autoimmune …..Rheumatoid arthritis is autoimmune

saw a good vascular consultant privately and he has referred me to someone about my back. So will have more details when I have seen him end of month. Thanks for information much appreciated.
