I've just ordered the regenerus cortisol test. I downloaded the instructions to figure out what I should be doing and it notes it should be done in Day 19 of a 28-day cycle. I have irregular periods, always less than 28 days.
Don't you just hate it when they are so specific like we are all on a 28 day cycle!.... might be best to ask them to see if they have anything to offer?
Let's give this a bump up to see if anyone else has a clue 🤗
They are trying to get you to take the samples when progesterone is high(est) around mid luteal phase.
If cycles are all over the place it can be hard to gauge this window but if cycles are just a bit longer or shorter you will be able to work this out. Its the bit were premenstrual symptoms might start occurring .
Ok, well I will try and catch it. So frustrating! Varying length cycles; 21, 13, 26, 24, 20... Currently on day 11 so I guess I'll just do the test when it arrives next week. Day 15 with some luck so that sounds like it might be about right. 🤞
I haven't tried them but there are cycle tracking apps that might help (given the advice above!) And you could maybe try temperature tracking and see if that helps you? No help at all if you want to do a test soon but could help for preparation if you're repeating the test in 6 months or so? Hope thst helps!
