IVve been on various dosage of this medication for 22 years. I'd say it takes about 3 weeks to start feeling it working.
My dosage has recently been decreased bcos of recent blood test . I was feeling really OK but seemingly was overmedicated...I'm am having consultations with a homeopath about another medical condition and so although I'm not advocating it for anyone else am also trying homeopathic treatment for hypothyroidism.

HiVi1914, If you post your most recent thyroid blood test results and tell us more about the dose of thyroid medication you're taking, members will be better informed to discuss your situation with you. If you were feeling ok before the decrease in dose, then it may be that you're now under-dosed. Unfortunately, there is no homeopathic treatment that can resurrect a non-functioning thyroid. A good homeopath should know that.
