British Thyroid Foundation - Thyroid Disease and Pregnancy

The British Thyroid Foundation's next ‘Meet the Thyroid Expert’ webinar is entitled, Thyroid Disease and Pregnancy and will take place on Wednesday 28 September at 6 pm. This is aimed at patients, GPs and other healthcare professionals who work in primary care and look after women who are pregnant or plan to have a baby.

The speakers are Professor Kristien Boelaert, Birmingham and Dr Catherine Napier, Newcastle and they will be discussing:

- hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism in pregnancy

- fertility

- managing subclinical thyroid disorders in pregnancy

- postpartum and breastfeeding

There will also be the opportunity to put questions to the experts.
