swollen feet

I have had swollen feet for years and years and especially when the weather is warm. My doctor altered my Medication of Levothroxine from 75 to 100 a week ago and it’s like a miracle my feet are not swollen even in the heat today. I am so so happy

That's such good news. Gives us hope that when the dose is right these side effects that doctors don't regard as serious can go away. Personally I regard the swellings as serious because the water retention must be happening around organs, where we can't see it. And of course I'd like to have good ankles again. Why did it take so long to go from 75 to 100mcg?

It’s amazing I have had swollen ankles for years but obviously worse when the weather is warm. I didn’t know I had an under active thyroid till two years ago it’s taken this long to get them to up the dosage, the doctor would say when the results came in that they are ok but I think you know your body and that you are not on the right dose. I made a fuss to see the doctor that listens to me which took two weeks, and he used the dose so happy days.
