I’m on 75 mcg levo and getting bloodwork tomorrow. I normally take it at 10pm, however I skipped my dose last night and took it this morning at 9am.
I know from reading here that I take my dose tomorrow right after my 9am blood work, but when can I eat after that? I’m diabetic so need to eat/balance sugars.
Then do I take another dose tomorrow night the switch back to evenings?
Thank you!

We say take Levo one hour before or two hours after food.
You can take it some time after the blood test but if you need to eat then take your Levo later, it's a storage hormone so timing isn't that critical, just take it when you can.
Then take tomorrow night's dose as normal to get back to your usual timing.
Thank you, that is good to know. So i will be taking one dose today after my blood work and the other later tonight as usual? Twice in one day but far apart.
I usually take my Levo and a bottle of water with me so that I can take it immediately I get into my car. That way, by the time I get home, the time waiting to eat and have my usual morning coffee doesn’t seem so bad. I also think that, if you’re desperate for something to eat, waiting half an hour won’t do much harm to your levels on a rare occasion, bearing in mind that you’ll restart your usual regime the same evening.
Thanks, this is helpful advice! I normally eat right when I get up but don’t eat a lot. I’ll probably eat after my appointment but can wait at least 1/2 hr after the levo. Thank you!
