So after someone on here said I should complain to medi checks about the doctors report I received,I did,and this was the reply.

I know it was advised on here not to bother with them but I had already had the item in my basket and had forgotten I had opted for the doctors report.

I applaud all who take the effort to file complaints.

Sometimes those in charge have no idea there is an issue. It is in both their and your interests to get these things resolved.

I never even gave it a thought tbh🤷‍♀️It wasn’t like I paid extra for it,that would’ve been a different kettle of fish. But then when someone mentioned it I thought, yeh why not!

It could have been more than inconvenient……

It’s not the first time this has happened

I'm intrigued. I was just about to order a medichecks test, why don't people like them?

I ordered previously from Blue Horizon and had the blood draw for them done by my GP's practice nurse, immediately after the one requested by my GP. The results were so ridiculously different that I vowed I wouldn't use them (blue horizon) again.

The testing is fine ….it’s the “free” doctors comments that are frequently not worth having and not worth the slightly longer time it takes between test and getting results

Oh, I see. That's OK then as I know how to interpret the results. It is though for someone else, and they don't know how to interpret them, so I might not order the doctors report. If it's anything like the blue horizon one, it'll be plain wrong. They do insist on looking at the TSH and not the thyroid hormones!

Exactly!

The exact same happens with me but it was with Medichecks last year, I had gp bloods and Medichecks the very next day after, and the results were crazy far out. I contacted Medichecks and they did another test for free.

That's a better response than I had from Blue Horizon.

Now you mention it I had a similar situation. I filled out a form couple years ago with my history snd with each further test I updated it with new info thinking they would take my original health history into consideration too but it seemed not. I will email them too.
