Brain fog cause?

Hi all I have hashimotos and terrible brain fog . I am not sure if it’s the menopause or the hashimoto’s any advice or supplement suggestions welcome . X

If you post your latest test results, along with their reference ranges (ranges are important as they vary from lab to lab) then we can see if you are optimally medicated. Undermedication could be the cause of your brain fog as this is a symptom of hypothyroidism.

For a full picture we need to see:

TSH

FT4

FT3

and because Hashi's can cause low nutrient levels and deficiencies, you need to test:

Vit D

B12

Folate

Ferritin

Post whatever results and ranges that you have, plus units of measurement for Vit D and B12, and we can help you further.

Some Hashi's patients benefit from a gluten free diet although this isn't guaranteed. Are you gluten free, or have you tried it?
